I’m a semi low-maintenance kind of girl. I don’t spend a lot of money on make-up and stuff but there are a few beauty products that I just don’t compromise on. These are items that I always have on hand and would highly recommend to any of my friends. In no particular order, here I go giving away some of my beauty secrets…

1. St. Ives Apricot Scrub – Its a scrub meant to be used on your face but that’s not what I use it for. I use it on my legs right before I shave… smooth as a baby’s butt!

2. Loreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Cleanser – I actually use this facial cleanser for its intended purpose and I absolutely love it! It cleans without drying my face out and it actually helps minimize my pores. As a matter of fact, I use the whole line.. the cleanser, wipes, and moisturizer. Good stuff!

3. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion – You know that disgusting oily crease you get in your eyeshadow about halfway through the day? Yeah, not with this stuff! Its quite possibly the best thing since sliced bread. …Actually, I think its better. I shall never wear eyeshadow without it again!

4. Buxom Lips by Bare Escentuals {Sugar} – It smells like a glorious toffee candy and has a wee bit of a sting when you put it on. I absolutely LOVE this stuff.

5. DuWop Lip Venom – This was my favorite lip gloss before I discovered Buxom, however I still use it and keep some on reserve. It smells like cinnamon, packs a little bit more sting than the Buxom, and goes on clear. Great stuff and a little goes a long way.

6. elf Mineral Eyeshadow – Seriously, this has to be one of my best finds yet. Its just like the pricey bareMinerals shadows, but only a fraction of the cost at $3 each. I have almost all of the colors.

7. white eyeliner – An absolute staple, and I’m not picky on the brand. Right now, I’m using one from elf because its only $1. Its amazing what a little bit of white eyeliner in the inside corner of your eye will do. It really opens your eyes up and makes them pop.

8. Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Treatment Cream – This stuff really does start working within 4 hours. If you see a blemish coming up at night, put a little of this on it before bed and its practically gone when you wake up. What I would’ve given for this to have been available when I was in high school!

9. Big Sexy Hair Products – The entire Big Sexy line ROCKS! On a daily basis, I use the Root Pump Volumizing Spray Mousse and the Spray & Play Volumizing Hair Spray. A girl at work asks me almost daily why my hair always looks so glorious… I don’t know about all of that, but this is what I use.

10. Bath & Body Works Breathe Romance Amber Myrrh – This line was discontinued a while back and I am distraught about it. This is my absolute favorite fragrance EVER and its getting harder to get my hands on it. I can still find it some on ebay and Amazon but I am forced to pay twice what it used to cost in the store. I really wish they’d bring it back. *sigh*

11. Sally Hanson Spray-On Hair Remover – Until I can bring myself to pay for some laser hair removal, I’ll be using this. Its very effective, less messy than Nair, and a lot easier than shaving certain areas. Ehem. Ok, moving right along….

12. Dove Ultimate Smooth Cashmere Deodorant – I don’t sweat a lot so I don’t really need a real strong antiperspirant. This is perfect for me and it goes on clear. I’ve always had a problem with deodorants drying me out but I don’t have that problem with Dove. Like the commercials say, it actually does make your skin smoother.

13. Bath & Body Works Body Cream – This is a thick deep-moisturizing body lotion, but its not heavy or greasy. Its pretty much glorious. I change the scents up on these, but I’m partial to the new Twilight Woods, Warm Vanilla Sugar, and Sensual Amber.
